In my Publication Design I class, I designed a dust jacket for a book named “Finding Lucy” using simple but effective illustrations to showcase the story. The doll shown on the cover is an important motif in the story, so I wanted to showcase it on the cover to entice the readers to find out more on what it means. I created the illustrations using the pen tool, and I used Adobe Indesign to make sure my text was aligned.
